The Temple and Priesthood Preview is a special meeting designed to help 11-year-old children (and their parents) prepare for the sacred opportunities that await them as they turn 12. This includes receiving the Aaronic Priesthood for young men and attending the temple to perform baptisms for the dead for both young men and young women. During this meeting, children and parents learn about the importance of the temple—a holy house of the Lord where families can be sealed together for eternity—and the blessings of the priesthood, which is the authority to act in God’s name to serve and bless others.
