After giving us a wonderful collection of music from the age of Shakespeare back in 2022, Philadelphia-based early music ensemble Tempesta di Mare will return with a program “Cruel Amaryllis,” exploring the evolution of madrigal in an early 17th century Italian music with tenors James Reese and Jacob Perry and three theorbos. This concert will be held on Saturday, November 9, 7:30 pm at the St. Michael Lutheran Church, 118 State Street, Harrisburg, PA. Single tickets are $35, $30 for seniors, $5 for college students and FREE for K-12 school-age students with a $10 ticket available for one accompanying adult. For tickets, please call 717 221-9599, at https://tempestadimare24.eventbrite.com or https://www.marketsquareconcerts.org/concerts or email [email protected].
We hope you will join us for a program exploring timeless relevance of Italian love songs from the early Baroque era.
