Start the new year fresh. Clean house responsibly with a free, drive-thru recycling event! Zero Waste Day is Saturday, Jan. 31 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kiwanis Park, 6111 S. All-America Way. Styrofoam chunks, electronics, appliances, household hazardous waste, paper for shredding and pet food/supplies are among the many items accepted at this event. All accepted items are recycled, repurposed or donated for reuse. This event is free to Tempe and Guadalupe residents.
