Make a Star design temari ball to match the starry night sky.
According to legend, the Milky Way separates two lovers (represented by the stars Vega and Altair), and they are allowed to meet only once a year. Why not express your Tanabata wish through the Milky Way to the star crossed lovers by making a Temari ball ? Try it out if you are looking for a new hobby or just want to make a beautiful craft. Select from blue, black, or red to personalize your creation.
What is Temari?
Temari (手まり)is a folk craft originating from Japan around 1300 years ago. Traditionally made in the form of "hand balls" given from parents to children on New Year's day. They've become a popular and versatile gift item while remaining a refreshing toy for children to play with.
