Telltale Presents: The Cozy Show

Hey, champ! Thanks for checking out Telltale. We are a monthly curated storytelling event for people that like to get vulnerable and take no shit. We are keen on connection, laughter, heartbreak, poignant moments, and community building.

We are already half way through our 8th season! Holy moly!

At Telltale, you can expect about 8-10 performers--with a focus on queer/BIPOC folks-- telling you a story, through a mix of comedy, stories, music, essays, and more. Your evening will likely include honesty, curse words, enthusiasm, dark humor, connection....and sometimes something unexpected. So please come and remind yourself that the world is bigger than we remembered and that you're never alone. We are specifically focused on stories from people that can get vulnerable but also take no shit, fierce folks that know how to fight the good fight but also like naps and staying home most nights.

(Psssssst: There will be a very good raffle.)

This month's theme is "The Cozy Show," (sub-theme: sleepover!) because it's January and I'm tired and what else is there except to bring ourselves a little comfort, you know? So here are some details to help promote maximum coziness:

--We will be serving cups of soup--veg/vegan/gluten free friendly, for $5
--We will be doing puff paint t-shirts! bring a shirt, we'll supply the paint!
--Consider wearing something cozy! Bring a blanket! Wear slippers!
--We may have someone doing very light makeovers--glitter, etc--to embrace some cozy sleepover vibes from our childhoods with no guilt.

Doors: 7:00

Showtime: 7:30-9:30pmish.

Raffle Money will go towards keeping the show alive--buying merch, buying raffle prizes from local companies, paying for the website, etc.

The space: Bathrooms are all gender-less. There are no stairs in this venue. There will be a few beverage for sale, plus cups of soup. Chairs are comfortable, wide, armless.

Also, we have no room for any oppressive garbage. Don't even try, pal.
