Telltale Presents: Dear Portland: We Love You (the Small Businesses Show)

Hey, champ! Thanks for checking out Telltale. We are a monthly curated storytelling event for people that like to get vulnerable and take no shit. We are keen on connection, laughter, heartbreak, poignant moments, and community building.

We are already most of the way through our 8th season! Holy moly!

At Telltale, you can expect about 8-10 performers--with a focus on queer/BIPOC folks-- telling you a story, through a mix of comedy, stories, music, essays, and more. Your evening will likely include honesty, curse words, enthusiasm, dark humor, connection....and sometimes something unexpected. So please come and remind yourself that the world is bigger than we remembered and that you're never alone. We are specifically focused on stories from people that can get vulnerable but also take no shit, fierce folks that know how to fight the good fight but also like naps and staying home most nights.

(Psssssst: There will be a very good raffle.)

This month's theme is "Dear Portland: We Love You" and will focus on owners of local businesses coming to tell a story--it might be about their business, or something else entirely. With all it's flaws, I love this city, and all the little businesses that make it what it is. Let's get together and celebrate them!

Location: Great Notion NW Location

Date: February 20th

Doors: 7:00

Showtime: 7:30-9:30pmish.

Raffle Money will go towards keeping the show alive--buying merch, buying raffle prizes from local companies, paying for the website, etc.

The space: Bathrooms are all gender-less. There are a few stairs up into the venue, and a ramp around the corner to the left of the main doors. Ample parking. The tap room will be open selling beer, wine, cider, and NA beverages, and Pizza Thief Will be open slinging tasty detriot style pizzas and sandwiches and such. Folding chairs and some stools.

Also, we have no room for any oppressive garbage. Don't even try, pal.
