About this Event
Telling Tales is a creative course for 8-11 year olds living in the Borough of Harrow.
The workshops will run on six consecutive Saturday mornings, starting on 9th November 2024.
Three workshops will take place at Greenhill Library and three workshops will be online over Zoom.
Over the course of the six weeks participants get to work with writer and poet Paul Lyalls to create stories and poems. At the end of the programme there will be an opportunity to share the creative writing at Greenhill library and everyone who completes the course will receive a Discover Arts Award.
The project is produced by Apple and Snakes - England's leading spoken word poetry organisation, hosted by Harrow Libraries, and generously supported by the John Lyons Charity.
Registration is free, but places are limited.
To register your interest please complete the Eventbrite registration form, confirming residency in the Borough of Harrow.
We regret this course is not available to applicants living outside of Harrow.
Places on the course will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.
Participants will need access to the internet and a device to join in with the three online workshops as part of the full six-week programme.
