About this Event
TELLABRATION!™ A World Wide Celebration of Storytelling
Every year, on or around the third Saturday in November, storytelling guilds and story enthusiasts all around the globe share their talents in concerts held in cities and towns to celebrate the art of storytelling. Locally, TELLABRATION!™ brings together each area’s celebrated storytellers, to delight, captivate, and mesmerize audiences with their tales. It creates a network of storytelling enthusiasts young and older, bonded together in spirit.
This year, Storytellers of New Mexico is delighted to partner with the Larry P. Abraham Agri-Nature Center and Nature Niños to bring listeners of all ages, a family-friendly, program of stories that will feature themes of nature, farm and food.
Featuring Storytellers
- Joe Hayes | Sarah Malone | Liz Mangual | Matilde Machiavelli
- Music with Armando Ortega | Emcee - Bob Kanegis
It's been said that "The shortest distance between people is a story." Whether you're already a fan of storytelling or simply looking for a fun and engaging evening, TELLABRATION!™ is a rare opportunity to enjoy the ancient art of storytelling in the company of family, friends, and neighbors. We invite you to experience the magic of live storytelling firsthand.
There will be a short break between two sets, followed by dinner, and a chance to meet and mingle with the storytellers. A food truck will be on-site, or feel free to bring a picnic dinner.
We hope to see you! Sat Nov 16th, 2024 from 4-7 PM (Mountain Standard Time). The Agri-Nature Center 4920 Rio Grande Boulevard NW, Los Rancho de Albuquerque.
