Thinking about writing a memoir? Let this class move you from thinking about writing to actually getting started. Whether you are at the idea stage or have a few chapters underway, this 6 week course will help you define your origin story and grow the arc of the narrative from there. We will explore personal essays and micro-memoirs as well as ethical issues and the nature of truth in reconstructing events and characterization. By the end of the course, you will have fine to ten pages of a pivotal moment from your story.
Classes meet every Monday from Feb 16- March 23
