Tell Her She’s Beautiful is happy to announce our 2nd Annual Small Business Expo. We are open to all small businesses. Please let us know what you will be selling. We are looking for Authors, Clothing businesses, Food Trucks, Jewelry makers, Candle makers, etc. If you want to come sell your products with us sign up as a vendor.

October 19, 2024 Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo at Ohio History Center Located at 800 E 17th Ave, Columbus, OH 43211. Vendors will arrive between 10:30am to 11:45am. All Vendors need to be set up and ready to go by 12pm. Event begins at 12pm until 4:00pm.

Cleanup will be from 4pm until 5pm. All Vendors must stay for the entire event. If you sell out, please make sure you have your business cards/flyers to pass out.

At this event we will NOT PERMIT the sale of Alcohol or Medical Marijuana. Please be respectful of this.

Please use our other form if you are a Food Truck Vendor as we only have limited spots for Food Truck Vendors.

Welcome to Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo. Below in preparation for this event, we have provided some important information about our event. Please make sure you read the entire document as you will be responsible for following all guidelines.

Understanding General Info and Our Terms:

To reserve your space, a $80.00 (with tax and fees total is $88.15) nonrefundable vendor fee is required. In the event of cancellation on behalf of Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo, all fees will be returned no later than 30 days after cancellation. One table and 2 Chairs will be provided. The tables come in different sizes. We will not provide any additional displays or racks. Please come with everything you need to setup.

There will be no charge for the community attending the event.

As a vendor you are required to stay until the event is over. The date is October 19, 2024 from 12:00pm-4:00pm.

Vendors will be responsible for covering or keeping displays and products safe when unattended, Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo will not be liable for any items that are lost or damaged during events.

On the day of the event vendors will need to be setup and ready at 12:00pm. Vendors can come in the facility and start setting up at 10:30am to 11:45am. The event will start at 12:00pm and end at 4:00pm. Please begin to clean up/tear down immediately after the event ends.

Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo will market the event; however, it is also the Vendors responsibility to market as well to reach more people and help make this event successful.

Vendors are responsible for their products and should make sure that they have someone attending their shop at all times. Please do not leave your tables unattended during this event.

Understanding Liability:

Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo and affiliates shall not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred by Vendor, including, without limitation, damage to Vendor's property, loss of sales, or injury to or death of Vendor (or its agents, employees, and/or personnel). Vendor expressly assumes all risks of loss, damage, liability, injury, or destruction resulting from any cause whatsoever, including but not limited to acts or omissions by Vendor, and hereby releases and waives any claims against Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo or affiliates related to such loss, damage, liability, injury and/or destruction.

Understanding Assignment:

Vendors are forbidden from assigning, subletting, exchanging, providing complimentary or for consideration, all or any part of the location assigned to Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo to any vendor, business or individual. No other business’ product or service, unless identified in this agreement, is allowed to be advertised or sold.

Understanding Merchandising:

Vendors are to set-up their own visual merchandising displays at the allocated space. Each Vendor will be provided a table and two chairs. It is the Vendor’s responsibility to cover displays, products etc. securely after closing hours. It is also the Vendor’s responsibility to ensure that their pop-up shop is clean and tidy at all times. Vendors shall not make any permanent alterations to the Ohio History Center including hanging items on walls or pillars. Retractable banners are permitted. Please be extremely careful when setting up, displaying or removing items from your space. Vendors will be directly liable for any damage caused to the space.

Marketing & Promotional Info:

Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo retains the right to market all Vendors and their products. This includes our web site, social media, promotional events, and advertising.

Cancellation Policy:

In the event of cancellation by the Vendor, the $80.00 fee (with tax and fees total is $88.15) is nonrefundable. If a cancellation by Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo is necessary due to unforeseen circumstances, acts of a third party, or other circumstances which (in Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo sole judgement) may compromise the safety of Vendors or customers, then this contract will be terminated and the $80.00 vendor fee (with tax and fees total is $88.15) will be returned to the Vendor.

Code of Conduct:

Vendors are to abide by all directives, regulations and rules set by Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo. Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo reserves the right to decline, prohibit, or expel any Vendor exhibit, or prevent any activity, displays, products, or conduct, which (Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo judgement) is out of keeping with the character and values of Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo endangers the venue, any employee, or customers. Vendor and its agents, employees, personnel, and/or independent contractors agree to be bound by this contract and shall comply with its terms and all rules, regulations, and directives as expressed to Vendor by Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo in any way at any time.

Miscellaneous:

The relationship of Vendor to Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo is that of an independent contractor, and nothing contained in this contract will be construed as creating a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, agency, or other relationship between the parties, or to make Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo liable for the debts or obligations of the Vendor. If any term herein is determined to be unlawful or unenforceable then the term will be severed and the remainder of the contract will remain in force. This contract is non-exclusive and Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo reserves the right to contract with other Vendors of a similar nature or business model or similar products/services. Any delay or failure by Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo to exercise any right or power under this contract shall not be construed to be a waiver of said right or power, or any other right of power under this contract. By completing this form, payment, and request to attend Tell Her She’s Beautiful 2nd Annual Small Business Expo, you agree to the terms listed above and in our terms and guidelines policy.
