In the land of PBS39, where giggles abound,
A holiday party is waiting - come gather around!
With joy and with jingles, with the Cat in the Hat,
We're planning a shindig, with activities and snacks!
Join TeleBear, Santa, and carolers too,
For pictures and crafts and stories, a hullaballo!
So come one, come all to make merry with PBS
on Saturday, December 7, for an afternoon of cheerfulness!
DETAILS
PBS39 will screen the PBS Kids holiday special, "The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About Christmas!" right in our studio in a cozy environment. Snacks will be provided.
We'll offer a Dr. Seuss story time, photo opportunities with TeleBear and Santa (and The Peeps Chick!) and space to create a special holiday ornament to take home. Dr. Seuss or comfy dress-up encouraged!
Come for the Cat, stay for the Friends!
- 1:15 p.m.: Story Time with Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital President Anne Baum
- 2:30 p.m.: The Peeps Chick, Santa, and TeleBear stop by to say hello and take pictures
TeleBear's Cub Club Member Benefit:
PBS39 members get early entry at 12:00 p.m. with a pizza lunch, a dedicated photo op with Santa and TeleBear, bonus story time, and a special holiday gift.
Members also get discounted ice skating tickets on December 7 at the ArtsQuest Ice Rink!
