Come be a Buffalo for a day! Stomp the Prairie!🦬The American Buffalo used to be the main engineer of native grasslands throughout the state. Their grazing patterns and stampedes would reshape the prairie ecosystems.
So let us all be Buffalo and help reseed the prairie!

Sections of Tejas Prairie will be prescribed burned before the Buffalo Stomp. Natural wildfires were also part of a healthy prairie ecosystem. The section we are reseeding will be charred earth ready for new seeds!
Purchase a seed pack to help reseed the prairie, or sponsor another Buffalo stomper if you can't make it!
All purchases and donations will be used to reseed Tejas Prairie.
Only sponsors and donors will be allowed to stomp the prairie with a signed liability waiver form.
Additional seeds and native plants will be available to purchase on the day of the event.

Not recommended for Children under the age of 10.
Liability waivers are required for all participants.
This is a rain-or-shine event.
Old shoes or boots are required. You will be stomping the ground and planting wildflower seeds.
