We were so fortunate last year to receive a Teignmouth Arts Project grant to start up Teignbridge's very own community samba band and it is awesome! During this 6 week course, you'll get to play a whole range of instruments including caixa, repinique, surdo, agogo bells and djembe.
We play a mixture of Brazilian Samba as well as some West African rhythms taking the group back to the roots of the samba rhythms.
No experience necessary, everyone is invited to come and play!
