Beat the January blues, find your funny, and step out of your shell because...Tees Music Alliance are please to announce it's collaboration with Shoecake Comedy, bringing 12 people of the Tees Valley area a FREE intensive weekend comedy course as part of the #digitaltenderness programme. Whether you’ve never touched a microphone before, you just want to meet new people or you’re just looking for a confidence boost, this supportive, fun weekend will give you the tools to write, perform, and upskill on improv comedy whilst just having fun.
We have multi-award winning comedians - Phil Allan-Smith & Chris Lumb who will guide you through improv games, teamwork exercises and all the important aspects of improvisation comedy… from how to make instant comedy from scenarios - to having the confidence to get on stage and perform in your very first improvisation showcase.
