In the Basic program we start with core moves & defenses I feel every person should know how to properly use. The great thing about these moves is that they can be used on their own or in the more advanced defenses. Some moves & target areas covered are: punch, face, knee strike & wrist grab.
This class is for teens, 13 - 18yrs old
Specific areas of focus: technology threats (trafficking), driving, bullies, healthy ways to vent, peer pressure, body positivity & being alone.
There are no off-limits topics or areas when it comes to discussions in these classes, as adults we all need to realize how much evil there is in the world. By preparing for it though, it will help you and your family/friends stay safe.

All of our self-defense classes promote loving, being and protecting yourself. In addition to learning effective physical aspects of defense techniques; we also cover: ideal target areas, using your voice, real life scenarios, harnessing your inner strength & how to control your energy. Classes are also great for: relieving stress, improving balance, increasing focus, sharpening reflexes & building confidence.
Our classes are broken up into different age ranges allowing students to focus on moves best suited for their size & strength. Scenarios (& details) discussed vary depending on the age range of the class, the goal is to educate & not to scare.
