Teenage Head: 50th Anniversary Home-Town Show
In 1974, when disco was the craze in New York City and folk music was fizzling out, deep in the steely bowels of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, 4 teenage boys were trying to imitate the sound of The New York Dolls, Iggy Pop and Eddie Cochran. In that cold cement block basement they discovered their own sound and never looked back. Those first chords of ‘Let’s Shake', ‘Picture My Face’ and ‘Disgusteen' brings back the glory days of many, at their universities and local grungy beer soaked bars... new lovers that eventually marry and young middle class workers driving to their first job.
With 12 STUDIO ALBUMS , 3 GOLD ALBUMS, and 2 PLATINUM ALBUMS, TEENAGE HEAD stands the test of time and remains one of Canada's most influential and beloved bands.
Roster including:
Stephen Marshall Mahon, Bass Guitar.
Dave Rave DesRoches, Lead Vocals.
Gene Champagne, Drums.
Trent Carr, Lead Guitar, graciously standing in when The Headstones ain't rocking your city.
TEENAGE HEAD is STILL STANDING STRONG in 2024, after 50 Years of
bittersweet moments and tragic losses. TEENAGE HEAD has defied all odds
and endures to bring their unmistakable sound to their die hard Fans.
