About this Event
Writing Workshop
Have you ever thought about writing a novel, but you don’t know where to start?
In this 90-minute writing workshop, you’ll go from creating an idea, to identifying a bigger theme, to brainstorming plot, to structuring everything. You’ll walk away with the shell of a fun idea to pursue…or a way to create and develop another idea on your own.
Steve will also briefly talk about his latest novel, eMortal, which will be published on November 19th.

eMortal Description
Teen coder Liv Smithwick has made history. She entered a contest to program advanced AI and inadvertently created Breck—the first AI to develop feelings. But nobody believes her. Even worse, Breck’s world ends when the contest closes in six days. As Liv mentors Breck’s budding consciousness and grapples with his fate, her own world begins to unravel. The twisting path from here shatters all that once mattered to Liv.
