Ages 13-18
Want to learn the basics of working on the potter’s wheel? We’ll cover the foundations of wheel work, including wedging, centering clay, forming cylinders, trimming, pulling handles, surface development, and glazing techniques. Get your hands dirty during 8 weeks of instruction.
This is an ideal class if you have little to no experience with clay and want to test your interest as well as for those who are looking to improve on their core skills.
Clay is included with tuition
Students should come prepared with a towel for wiping their hands or may rent one from the studio for $3 per class.
By enrolling in a class or workshop, you are acknowledging that you have read and understand the safety instructions and liability waiver.
