This program aims to help young people navigate the unique challenges they may face during this time, including coping with changes, managing the lack of structured activities, and addressing social anxiety and friendship challenges that often arise during the winter. This will be an inclusive session that will be supportive to those who identify as neurodiverse. Program Details:
Duration: Six weeks
Schedule: Every Wednesday, from 6 PM to 8 PM
Location: The Burton Street Foundation
Cost: £50 per session or £300
Age Range: 12 to 18 years old
Group Size: Limited to 10 participants to ensure a supportive and focused environment
Facilitator: The sessions will be led by a qualified therapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), ensuring professional and confidential support.
This group offers a safe and nurturing space where teenagers can build resilience, develop coping strategies, and connect with peers facing similar challenges. Whether your teenager experiences anxiety in social settings, struggles with the unstructured nature of winter, or simply needs additional emotional support, this group provides valuable guidance and tools.
