Speaker Bio:
Khayla McClinton, Senior Clinical Trial Associate at Legend Biotech, is a biomedical scientist with an interest in clinical research and biotechnology focusing on genetic disease, infectious disease, biomedical device development , and maternal health. Founder of McClinton Scholars Mentoring Program, MSMP focuses on providing community and resources to underrepresented students. Founder and co-director of SRA Media, a platform dedicated to showcasing black companies and organizations making strides in their communities. Her background is a variety of maternal health, prevention methods, epidemiological research, biomedical research, biotech, clinical research and device development, non-profit outreach, and programming.
