We are happy to add this special pottery workshop just for teens!This workshop is for all kids ages 13-16 (we would consider 12 year olds turning 13 before May 2026)
Workshop will include clay, glazes, and fires for all completed projects.
Lessons include learning to use the handbuilding station, operating a slab roller, forming vessels from slab, pinch, and coil methods. Students will also explore adding texture using rolling pins, fabrics, trimming tools, stamps, and sprigs.
The final week will include glazing our pieces and we will fire them for you to collect in February.
Most clay will dry and be ready to glaze but we have times where the students use very thick clay in their work. Thicker pieces of pottery take longer to dry and this can cause a delay in the glazing of finished pieces. We will offer glaze days at no extra cost or we are happy to glaze for you!
