In this free workshop, participants will create their own nichos—small, decorative shadow boxes rooted in Mexican folk art traditions. These vibrant pieces can be used to honor a loved one, highlight a favorite quote, or showcase a meaningful image or artwork.
Using accessible materials like foam board and recycled boxes, you’ll construct and personalize your nicho with paint, glitter, rhinestones, old jewelry, stickers, and more. This hands-on session invites you to explore personal storytelling through color, texture, and symbolism.
