About this Event
Join us for an evening at the Disco Carnival on the High Line! Enjoy a fusion of the dazzling shimmer of disco with the festive rhythmic elements of cultural carnivals, and whimsy of attractions at an amusement fair. This free, youth-led event will feature activities, art workshops, performances, an open-mic segment, snacks and food tasting, dancing, and a celebratory moment in honor of the High Line’s 15th birthday. We encourage you to wear something showing your interpretation of the theme. Note: While all are welcome, this is a teen-led event, with activities geared towards youth ages 14-21.
Advance registration is encouraged. Walk-ups are welcome if the event is not at capacity.
In the case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the rain date of May 24 from 4 - 8pm. We will add a note to the website by noon on the day of the original event and email all registered participants.
