About this Event
teen Mental Health First Aid is a 3-part training series for youth. It will take place from 4:00-5:30pm on:
- Monday, December 2nd
- Monday, December 9th
- Monday, December 16th
ATTENDANCE
Attendance at all 3 sessions is required to participate in the training! Each day builds on top of the other.
CONTENT
This training covers:
- Common signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges
- Common signs and symptoms of a mental health crisis
- The impact of school violence and bullying on mental health
- How to talk to a friend about mental health and substance use concerns
- How to seek the help of a responsible and trusted adult
Snacks will be provided.
Pre-registration is required. Register by signing up for this event!
