About this Event
This event is for teens ages 13-18
Our M**der Mystery parties are a blast! You will receive a character profile prior to the event. Show up that night as your character, have some dinner, some fun, maybe win some prizes and try to figure out Who Dun It!
Character assignments will be sent beginning November 25th. A confirmation email (from [email protected]) will be sent on November 20th - you must reply to this email so I can send a character assignment. This will include a description of your character so that you can plan out a look. The event is themed around ugly holiday sweaters.
When you arrive at the library on the day of the event you must be in character and stay in character until the event is over. You will be given a script to read from so you don't need to come up with anything to say.
The event will be broken into 3 parts - a meet and greet, dinner and dessert. You will spread disinformation, gather facts and try to solve the mystery.
Prizes will be awarded for best costume, best character portrayal and correct whodunit solution. Please be creative with your costume but you do not need to spend money on your look. Use homemade props (even made out of paper) or old sweaters that you can decorate to reflect your character.
Send any questions to Christine [email protected]
