For ages 13-17.Join young adult author Claire Hennessy for this creative writing workshop for teens. Claire will help us launch Summer Shorts: Library Daze our summer creative writing project for teens aged 13-17 in the Ballyroan, Rathfarnham, Templeogue, Whitechurch and Knocklyon Area.
Writers aged 13-17 are invited to submit a short story loosely set or featuring a library/libraries with the opportunity for their work to be included in a published collection to appear in late 2024. Submissions must be: Minimum 1,500 words / maximum 3000 words. Submissions must be suitable reading for a young adult audience.
The deadline for submissions: Monday 19 August at 4pm.
