Eastgate Library is hosting an awesome series of events to help teens learn about cosplay and costuming from start to finish! On September 18, we embark on the next important step of our cosplay journey: Resources!
Often, one of the most difficult obstacles that we have to contend with is figuring out how best to manage our resources. Whether we're talking about materials, money, time, or even help from others, we have to be very mindful balancing everything so that we reach our final goal! For this session, we'll learn how to think outside the box and make the best of our resources so we don't break the bank or wear ourselves out. From thrift shopping to making things out of unusual materials, this part of the process is where we get to flex our creative muscles!
Some members from the local costuming charity group, Chattooine will be there to give their advice and guidance to the people who come out to learn, so all of our aspiring cosplayers can start out this journey with a big advantage!
If you know any teens aged 12-18 who would be interested in learning cosplay, costuming, or other associated arts, please come join us for this awesome adventure!
