Teens must apply for a space using our sign up form and we will invite you to a sign up meeting. For more information or to sign up, please visit our webpage: https://asdfamilyhelp.org/index.php/branches/inclusive-teen-club-in-newbury/
A monthly TEEN Club for young people aged 12 to 18 years with additional needs such as aspergers, autism, dyslexia, anxiety, OCD, ADHD and learning difficulties etc. No diagnosis is required. Siblings may also be able to attend (please speak to our staff).
Children must be able to access this activity on a ratio of 1 adult to 8 children. (We are unable to provide one to one support).
The aim of the club is to encourage socialising and making friends, plus getting out of the house for a few hours!
Staff are experienced working with children & young people with a variety of needs and the environment is supportive and easy-going.
We meet at Riverside Community Centre, Newbury, which provides us with plenty of room and a quiet area inside.
£4.00 per child per session (payable as a termly payment).
A small disposable snack and drink will be available for each child.
Sessions are without parents present - for this reason, all new children will only be booked onto this activity after the young person and their parent have met with staff to sign up.
The sign up form is online and we will book in a sign up meeting with you prior to offering a space.
This allows the teens to meet our staff, begin to feel comfortable with us and give them a chance to ask us any questions they have. We will also discuss with you and assess whether we are able to meet your child's needs.
Booking essential via sign up form: https://forms.office.com/r/7v9s23AbPe
