"Where Is Happily Ever After? Anxiety: The Bully We All Have to Face."
This year’s play takes a deep dive into the universal wish for a "happily ever after" as it unfolds the stories of a group of friends navigating their personal battles with anxiety. The narrative explores how social pressures such as fear, joy, sadness, anger, embarrassment, envy, and depression shape their daily lives.
Through powerful performances, the play sheds light on the hidden struggles our kids face, including family obligations, financial hardships, disabilities, self-image concerns, and the impact of heightened school violence.
Despite their challenges, they each pursue one common goal: to find their version of happily ever after.
