About this Event
This 2.5 hour workshop is designed for a teen with an accompanying adult participating together, and so each ticket is for on adult and one teen. In the class you will learn to create your very own simple sterling silver rings.
Working with sterling silver we will use traditional jewellery making techniques to create a beautiful silver band ring for you to wear and take home.
We will learn to size your ring, add texture to the surface, solder, finish, and polish your ring so that you can wear it.
The workshop will take place at The Studio at Millbank, Millbank House, Cumnock and a maximum of 4 pairs of attendees will take part in the workshop.
Suitable for those aged 12 years and over with the accompanying adult 18 years and over.
No previous jewellery experience is necessary, all materials to make your ring are supplied, and all tools needed for the class will be provided for use during the workshop.
As we will be working with tools, loose clothing should be avoided, closed toe shoes should be worn and if you have long hair it should be worn tied back.
Please remember to bring glasses if needed as we will be working with small objects.
