The meaning of HUMANITY is compassionate, sympathetic, or generous behavior or disposition: the quality or state of being humane. It is benevolence, goodwill, sympathy. It can be understanding and kindness toward other people.
It signifies human love and compassion towards each other. Humanity differs from mere justice in that there is a level of altruism towards individuals included in humanity more so than in the fairness found in justice.
