Welcome to the event page of 𝗧𝗘𝗗𝘅𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, a stage where ideas spark, perspectives collide, and stories inspire action. After a three-year hiatus, North South University is back with its TEDx event, continuing its tradition as a hub for learning, curiosity, and innovation while connecting to a global movement. 𝗧𝗘𝗗, short for 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, and 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻, has for decades brought together visionaries, creators, and thinkers from around the world to share “𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴.” TEDx events, like ours, are 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗘𝗗’𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲, giving local communities the chance to host transformative talks and connect with a worldwide network of dreamers and doers. Every TEDx event is a day filled with insights, energy, and conversations that could change the way we see the world. This year’s event is initiated by the 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 (𝗦𝗘𝗣𝗦) in collaboration with the Proposed 𝗡𝗦𝗨 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 (𝗡𝗕𝗔), bringing together two dynamic units of NSU to create a meaningful and engaging platform for ideas.
This year, our theme “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗵’𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆” could not be more timely. As Bangladesh embraces 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, entrepreneurship is no longer just about business; it is also about 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. It is about creating solutions, shaping communities, and reimagining the economy itself. This theme celebrates the innovators and changemakers who turn bold ideas into real-world impact, the people shaping our nation’s digital future, and the stories that demonstrate how creativity, technology, and determination can transform industries and lives.
Whether you are a student seeking inspiration, a curious mind hungry for new ideas, or someone who believes in the power of change, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂. You will hear from speakers across diverse fields, sharing journeys of courage, innovation, and vision. The atmosphere will be charged with creativity, dialogue, and the energy of people imagining what the future could be together.
