The Climate Summit for Young and Emerging Leaders in Perth.
Be part of Countdown, TED's global initiative to champion and accelerate solutions to the climate crisis, turning ideas into action.
The goal is to build a better future by halving greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 in the race to a zero-carbon world – a world that is safer, cleaner and fairer for everyone.
Every organisation, company, city and nation and citizens everywhere are invited to collaborate with Countdown and take action on climate. It is a movement open to everyone – and everyone has a vital role to play.
Here in WA, young and emerging leaders know that taking climate action is critical to their future. They understand that we need to reach net zero carbon and believe young people are a vital part of the solution. If this sounds like you, then Countdown is for you.
Created for young emerging leaders aged 16 to 30, Countdown puts those most affected by climate change front and centre. Six remarkable, future-focused, innovative young leaders will speak about how they are actively working towards net zero. Not only will they share fresh ideas, but practical routes to a better, more sustainable world.
At Countdown you'll be right there for the live recording of six new TEDx talks, to be shared globally by TED.
