Tectured Pumpkin Art & Painting Workshop

If you’re looking for a fun and inexpensive art project, this workshop is one you’ll want to attend! It’s incredibly easy to make your own DIY textured canvas art—no artistic ability required, and possibilities are endless! When I show you how to make this modern and whimsical pumpkin patch with a texture compound bought at Home Depot, you'll want to continue experimenting on your own. Plus, learn some painting techniques that will make you look like a pro!

Because of the time required for this project, I have broken it up into two parts:

1) Sept. 16, at 6 PM, we will prime and texture our canvas. You will learn how to create the texture paste and how to prime and ready your canvas for the fun application technique you'll learn with a palette knife.

2) Sept. 23, at 6 PM, we will return with our dry canvases for light prepping and painting. You'll choose your color palette from our paint bar -- whether painting in traditional fall colors, or in all the trendy pinks -- it's your art to design, so we let you decide.

This art piece may look challenging, but it's actually quite simple, using just a few tools that we supply at the workshops.

What to know: No outside food or drinks permitted.

This two-part workshop is offered at a very reduced rate because a $25 minimum food and beverage spend is required at each session. Tap and Cellar offers excellent beer on tap, wine from their local family estate, and a large selection of spirits, as well as delicious flatbread pizzas and charcuterie boards perfect for sharing with a friend. Select wine, beer, and flatbread pizza are offered to Artfully Yours' guests at happy hour pricing. It's a cheap date -- or a super affordable girlfriend's weeknight out!

Info: Please arrive between 5:45 and 6:00 PM to check in with the host in the Barrel Room (the private room) and then place your food and drink orders at the bar. We will begin the workshop once all guests have arrived, so please don't be late!
