SHIFT Festival is a technicolor party at the base of a Volcano; it's a disco oasis in the desert. SHIFT is a celebration of love, creativity, freedom, and the playful human spirit. SHIFT Festival is ever-changing. This year’s SHIFT theme is Flowing Chaos! Just like lava… Bring your passion, your energy, and go with the flow.

We are always looking for volunteer help! SHIFT is a volunteer-run festival! From lifeguards, to fire safety, to LNT crews, we are looking for folks of all skill sets to help make SHIFT the magical experience it is! Volunteering is a great way to get a behind the scenes look at the operations of an immersive festival, get fed yummy food, and offset the cost of your ticket, among other perks! SHIFT Festival is located in the Central Oregon high desert at a beloved ranch just south of Grass Valley. It’s a scenic 2.5 hour drive east of Portland, 4.5 hours south of Seattle, or 2 hours north of Bend! Exact location will be provided closer to the event.

SHIFT 2024 takes place July 25-29th! Attendees may begin arriving on Thursday, revelry goes through Sunday, and everyone must GTFO by 2pm on Monday.

Throughout the grounds of SHIFT festival, you’ll encounter art of all sorts! Artists from all over the Pacific Northwest bring their statues, light structures, fire art, and interactive installations– a true and proud display of the talent and heart of this beautiful corner of the world! Volcano: The Tectonic Stage is the immersive and fiery center of all things funkadelic, where Tectonic’s devotees gather at night to shake their booties to electrifying beats into the morning! Expect a variety of sonic offerings– the Volcano doesn’t discriminate! Bass, House, Techno, and everything in between!
Beach: During the daytime, it’s not hard to find the party at SHIFT! Just head downhill to the beach! We love the beach so much, we brought it to the desert! This oasis is jam-packed with all types of SHIFT participants, reveling in the sun, dancing to a diverse array of beats, taking rest under the shade of the surrounding trees, or venturing out with their inflatables to the floating Tiki Bar! All with majestic Mt. Hood in the distance.
Nasty’s: Nasty’s is SHIFT’s very own dive bar, freak show, and live music venue! Whether you’re catching a drag performance, a rocking live band, a circus act, or just stopping in for a mystery drink and a heckle, you’re sure to have a great (or downright horrible) time at Nasty’s!
