MEETING POINT Tect Park Carpark by the main toilets. This is just past Weld Rd on the left. From here we will drive to the start of the track. Tauranga Boys College Trail.

TRACK DESCRIPTION
We will be starting the day walking the Tauranga Boys College Trail. This is a stunning walk with a native bush section. Has a an up but nothing I think that will be too challenging. This connects us with the Buffalo Girl Loop. This is an interesting trail with 3 road sections. A mix of bush, a couple stream crossings and a bit of variety. There is a decent uphill section going up our first road section. But most of the track isn't overly challenging. On this walk we take two side missions. The Lost Tank. Which is an easy short bush walk. And the Repeater Lookout. which has views over the mount and Mt Tarawera. There is an uphill section but the view is well worth it. Once Buffalo Girl Loop is complete we return via Tauranga Boys College Track. Then head back to the main Carpark for a BBQ. Two free BBQs on-site. After that for one last walk we will be walking the stunning Te Rerenga Tunnel walk. A mix of Pine and bush walks. Couple of stair sections. One going down and one going up. And of course the tunnel we will walk through.
BBQ DETAILS
This is going to be entirely up to you. You can bring a picnic or join us for the BBQ. If you want to join in on the BBQ bring something to throw on the BBQ and a plate. Make sure if you do to pack a chilly bin full of ice to keep it cold in this warm weather.
WHAT TO BRING
Good footwear. Sunblock as there is some open areas. Picnic or stuff for the BBQ. Snacks. Plenty of water.
