LLC or C Corporation ? Contracts. Insurance and liability. As the 3rdd in our 12-week Thursday evening series of expert presentations on elements for successful venture development, TechXel Stamford proudly welcomes experienced startup attorney Peter Gennuso.
Pete represents startups and established companies throughout their business life cycle with a focus on generating operating capital. His work includes advising private and publicly held U.S. and multinational companies in securities and capital-raising, venture capital, private equity, banking and finance matters.
He is particularly experienced in providing counsel to early stage and emerging growth companies, as well as entrepreneurs. He handles multimillion-dollar securities offerings, including private placements, initial public offerings (IPOs), private investment in public equity (PIPE) transactions, public company filings, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance matters. He also represents underwriters and placement agents in securities offerings.
In addition to transactions, Pete brings real-world experience, having served on the board of a public company and held executive positions at several startups. His clients span a variety of innovative sectors, from pharma and life sciences to technology and artificial intelligence.
Pete graduated from Iona College magna cum laude , where he was a member of both Delta Epsilon Sigma National Honor Society and Omicron Delta Epsilon Economics Honor Society. He holds both his JD and an MBA in Finance from Pace University and is admitted to practice in New York.
