Technology Safety: Unique Considerations for Victim Services Providers :
- This workshop will provide attendees with knowledge and information on how to assess when technologies are being misused to continue the perpetration of abuse and victimization.
- Attendees will be better able to assess for technology-facilitated abuse and learn to incorporate technology in their safety planning prior to and after victimization.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify risks associated with different technologies
- Assess for security on different mobile devices & wireless connections
- Crate a trauma-informed safety planning around technology
- Learn how to document & collect information.
