Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) Advance Planning Brief to Industry

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) will be hosting the APBI on June 26th, from 8:30am to 2:30 pm at Dewberry Hall, George Mason University. The event shall also be live streamed, industry participants do not have to travel unless able.

The purpose of the APBI is to offer informative briefing sessions addressing Agency acquisition and IT transformation initiatives and objectives. Several briefing sessions with VA leadership, including but not limited to, Mr. Michael Parrish, Chief Acquisition Officer and Principal Executive Director, Office of Acquisition, Logistics and Construction and Mr. Kurt DelBene, Chief Information Officer and Assistant Secretary for Information and Technology will be presented.

Live Stream Registration & Link: While pre-registration is required for the live video stream, there is no per-company limit on registrations. The link for the live video stream will be included at the bottom of the order confirmation e-mail to all registered participants.

Presentation of email confirmation will be required at check-in. In person registration is limited to two (2) attendees per company for the live event, accepted on a first come- first served basis until capacity is reached. There is only one ticket per participant being offered for this event.

Please note there is a parking fee associated with Mason Pond Deck (Parking Services - Parking and Transportation - George Mason University).

Additional information will be made available at https://www.voa.va.gov, under Advanced Planning Brief to Industry 2024. Event agenda and FY24 year-end requirements, as well as FY25 first quarter contracting opportunities will be posted under the APBI Library prior to the event. The registration list, briefing charts and recording from the event will be posted within a week following the event.

This event will be videotaped. Registration constitutes your consent and release for public viewing.
