Whether your kid just discovered mountain biking or is suddenly dropping you on every ride, this clinic is for you!This event is a welcoming, supportive clinic designed for women looking to build the skills and confidence to keep up with their kids - and have fun doing it. Perfect for newer riders or those who’ve never taken a clinic before, this event offers a clear, confidence-boosting approach to confidently getting your tires on dirt.
Led by SMBA’s expert local coaches, this one-day event starts at the Sedona Bike Park, where you’ll break down essential skills and session features in a safe, controlled environment. After a catered lunch, you’ll put your toolkit to work on a guided trail ride designed to reinforce the day’s lessons.
Do I have to be a mom to sign up?
Absolutely not! This clinic is tailored for beginner to intermediate riders, with small group sizes to ensure personalized feedback. Mountain bikes are required.
Skills covered will include:
Confident descending body position
Progressive bike setup and Q&A
Braking with control
Bike-body separation
Wheel lifts for getting up and over trail features
Pumping for momentum and flow
Cornering techniques for traction and stability
Lunch: Catered lunch includes a sandwich, chips, fruit, cookie, and drink. DF, GF, and vegetarian options available—just let us know during registration.
