What is Tech Weekend?
A 3-day, intensive bootcamp-style event where 100 tech founders and 50 venture capitalists come together in a close-knit setting to connect, learn, and invest in the future of technology.

Info: Over 50 VCs who invest in tech startups come to this dinner. You can talk to them one-on-one. VCs wear red badges which includes their fund name and investment focus, so you know who to chat with. It lasts 4 hours, and almost every founder gets a follow-up meeting—some even get deals right there!

Info: VC Office Hours: A Quick Overview

In this activity, founders will have the chance to meet with VCs in 20-minute one-on-one sessions. Here’s how it works:

Sign-Up: Founders sign up in advance, specifying their industry and focus, which helps us match them with VCs who are aligned with their business.

Meeting Times: Each VC will be available for 2 hours, hosting a series of 20-minute meetings with selected founders.

What to Expect: Founders pitch their companies, ask for advice, or get feedback on specific challenges.

Additional Opportunities: After their scheduled time, founders can approach other VCs for informal conversations if there’s time.

Preparation is Key: Founders should come with a clear pitch and questions to make the most of their 20 minutes.

Info: An Investor (AMA) Ask me Anything panel is a unique session where the audience is in control of the conversation. Instead of a moderator asking preset questions, the audience—in this case, the founders—get to ask the panelists (in this case, VCs) any question they want. This format gives you, the founders, a direct line to the investors, allowing you to ask about topics that matter most to your startup, fundraising, and industry-specific concerns.

In this AMA Panel, we’ll have 6 VCs split into two groups of 3. Each group of VCs will answer your questions about raising capital, building investor relationships, what they look for in startups, and more.

Our Ask Me Anything (AMA) panels are designed to be audience-driven and interactive, allowing you to get direct answers from the experts!

Audience-Driven: For 45 minutes, the audience takes the lead, asking the VCs any questions they have. Instead of listening to pre-set questions, you'll get to ask what's most relevant to you.

Focused on Your Needs: Whether you're a founder seeking advice on fundraising, investment strategies, or specific challenges in your startup journey, this panel is the perfect opportunity to get the answers you need.

Two Panels: The six VCs will be split into two smaller groups, each tackling different topics or industries, so you can join the one that aligns with your interests or stage of your business.

Info: We're looking for innovative startups to pitch their ideas at Tech Weekend. 5 Startups will be chosen to pitch at the Tech Weekend, and the winner will receive the follow support from Founders Village. The competition will be judged by 5 VCs
