This new activity, presented by long-time IT professional Martin B., aims to help members understand technology and how it can enhance and streamline your life.
This second Tech Talk will focus on how virtual assistants (Alexa, Siri, OK Google) can add value to your life and are extremely useful for disabled or less mobile people. They also permit a « Smart Home » where lights and other devices can be remotely controlled or programmed to switch on or off on schedule.
There will also be an open discussion where questions are welcomed and input will be sought re: topics for future sessions.
No prior technical knowledge is required. RSVP appreciated to [email protected] so we can plan appropriate seating.
The conference room is on the first floor of Espace Jacques 1er d’Aragon, across the footbridge over the Lez, (closest tram stop: Rives du Lez). Enter on the left side of the building as you face it. The lift doesn’t always work without a badge, so use the staircase. Our meeting is in the Salle des Cours in the corridor at the back of the building.
