What We Will Do
We will start with a high level exploration of the various different funding models for a startup - including VC, crowdfunding, bootstrapping & grants. We’ll explore 3 business scenarios and what might be the most appropriate models for each. Then we’ll take a look at some of the things a business can do to boost their chances of getting the right funding, and how this relates to your product strategy.
The second masterclass in this series, 'The First 6 months', will discuss the overall costs of running a product team and will provide a useful foundation for this session. See below.

Our masterclass are made up of 3 sessions run over 3 months. While you can attend them individually, we recommend coming to them all for the best experience:

Workshop Leader
Mark Somerfield is an experienced technical leader and a veteran of several London-based startups (both successful and not-so-successful ones!). He currently provides consultancy as a fractional CTO, helping new businesses to navigate the pitfalls of taking a technical product to market.
