Women of Newcastle 📣

Join our first offline event dedicated to you. Offering some much needed time away from technology and the ever-present virtual world we find ourselves in.

Come along and check in your device(s) and yourself(!) for some blissful tech free time, to unwind, reset and connect to the real world.

Whether you want to cosy up with your favourite read or have some fun playing board games – you’ll find yourself in good company with other like-minded women to connect to.

The plan

5-5.15pm Arrive and hellos

5.15-6pm Time for you – some solo time to enjoy

6-6.45pm Time to connect - socialise with friends or someone new, but only if you feel like it.

6.45pm Round up and byes

WE NEED YOU TO… Bring your own arts and crafts, books and games to enjoy whilst you switch offline with us.

How to find the venue

Bus - Stagecoach buses 10, 11, 38 from town stop at the ‘Big Lamp’ from where Earthlings Café is about 5 minutes walk.

Car – There are paid and free parking spaces near the café on the close surrounding streets.

She’s offline events is collaborating with Earthlings The Healing Café to bring you this special event, a first in the city. And, you can feel good knowing that with every ticket purchased, a donation will go to Earthlings.

Founded by a lass on a mission to liberate women’s brains from the endless doom scrolling, tech overload, never switching off! The big dream is to grow a lovely offline community of us women across the city, through events like this and more.
