Welcome to Tech Explorers After School Sessions in St Ives! Join us at Bayspace for two afternoons of tech exploration and fun. Dive into the fascinating world of physical computing. Designed for curious minds aged 9 to 14, these sessions invites 15 students to embark on an educational adventure using Raspberry Pi as their guide. Experience a blend of creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork, all while learning critical tech skills.

Two Afternoons of Interactive Learning: Two-hour sessions each afternoon, packed with engaging discussions and hands-on projects.

From Basics to Build: Start with setting up a Raspberry Pi and progress to constructing your own simple rover.

Session Breakdown:

Afternoon November 11th 4pm - 6pm :

Introduction to Raspberry Pi: Discover what a Raspberry Pi can do and kickstart your journey with a 'Hello World' project.

Basic Electronics: Delve into circuits and control them, using breadboards and LEDs.

Python Programming: Unravel the basics of Python and create a blinking LED project.

Afternoon November 18th 4pm - 6pm :

Introduction to the Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller.
