TECA Day On The Hill 2026

The Tennessee Educators of Color Alliance is proud to host our fourth annual TECA Day On The Hill. The agenda will include visits with legislators and policymakers, attending committee meetings, and a tour of the building. A late lunch will be provided.

In this crucial time when education and educators are under attack, it is vital that educators and education supporters make their presence, voices, and impact known. We encourage attendees to use their available community service, learning development, and professional development hours as provided by their employer.

A pre-Day On The Hill informational meeting will be held the week of February 23. Details to be provided.

Info: Attendees can meet in the lobby of TownPlace Suites Downtown, 310 Gay Street, Nashville, TN 37201, and walk to the Capitol as a group. Attendees can also go directly to the Cordell Hull State Office Building, 425 Rep. John Lewis Way N, Nashville, TN 37219.

Info: Attendees will engage in a tour of the Capitol.
