Er du skuespiller, teaterpedagog eller regissør som vil utforske fysiske tilnærminger til skuespillerteknikk?I denne workshopen trener du ditt viktigste instrument – kroppen – gjennom øvelser fra Viewpoints, Biomechanics og Roberta Carreris The Dance of Intentions. Samtidig oppdager du hvordan samspillet mellom psyke og kropp kan forsterkes, og hvordan kroppen kan frigjøre iboende kreativitet og gi nytt liv til ditt sceniske uttrykk.
Workshopen passer for skuespillere som ønsker å styrke scenisk tilstedeværelse og kroppsbeherskelse, og som søker nye måter å tilnærme seg en rolle på. Teaterpedagoger og regissører kan også finne inspirasjon her – og oppdage nye verktøy for å skape materiale.
Workshopens innhold blir tilpasset deltakernes ønsker og behov. Det er mulighet for en modul til i våren 2026, som kan føre til en visning.

Om meg
Jeg heter Eleni Riga-Johansen og har en bachelor i Drama og teaterkommunikasjon og en mastergrad i Teater og samfunn fra OsloMet. Siden 2009 har jeg arbeidet med fysiske tilnærminger til skuespillerteknikk. Jeg har fordypet meg i Viewpoints Komposisjon i tre år i Hellas og jeg har deltatt på Biomechanics workshops i Oslo. I tillegg har jeg deltatt på workshops med Roberta Carreri på Odin Teatret i Danmark og i Oslo.
De siste årene har jeg kombinert elementer av disse metodene og både i bachelor- og masterprosjektet mitt forsket jeg på hvordan disse teknikkene bidrar til psykosomatisk integrasjon hos skuespilleren. Jeg har holdt workshops på Sagene Sammfunnshus og på Torshovloftet.
Mitt mål gjennom workshopene mine, er å hjelpe skuespilleren med å bryte sin performative maske og oppdage kroppens potensiale i utforskingen av en rolle.
Are you an actor, theatre pedagogue, or director who wants to explore physical approaches to acting technique?
In this workshop, you will train your most important instrument – the body – through exercises from Viewpoints, Biomechanics, and Roberta Carreri’s The Dance of Intentions. At the same time, you will discover how the interplay between psyche and body can be strengthened, and how the body can release inherent creativity and bring new life to your stage expression.
The workshop is suitable for actors who wish to strengthen their stage presence and physical control, and who are seeking new ways of approaching a role. Theatre pedagogues and directors may also find inspiration here – and discover new tools for creating material.
The content of the workshop will be adapted to the participants’ wishes and needs. A second module may take place in spring 2026, which could lead to a scenic result.

About me
My name is Eleni Riga-Johansen, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in Drama and Theatre Communication and a master’s degree in Theatre and Society from OsloMet. Since 2009, I have worked with physical approaches to acting technique. I spent three years in Greece specializing in Viewpoints Composition, and I have participated in Biomechanics workshops in Oslo. In addition, I have attended workshops with Roberta Carreri at Odin Teatret in Denmark and in Oslo.
In recent years, I have combined elements of these methods, and in both my bachelor’s and master’s projects I researched how these techniques contribute to psychosomatic integration in the actor. I have taught workshops at Sagene Community House and Torshovloftet.
My goal through my workshops is to help actors break their performative mask and discover the body’s potential in the exploration of a role.
