About this Event
Tea, or as we like to call it, Chiya (not Chai!) - is central to Nepali culture and social life. For the longest time, Nepali teas were one of the tea world's best kept secrets. But Nepal's nascent tea community has been growing and innovating, and is proudly showcasing its divine teas around the world.
This session will be a Chiya Guff (Tea chat), a casual, interactive, and intimate conversation with friends over cups of tea. Your hosts will be two tea-loving Nepali folks who are excited to share their passion for Nepali teas in Singapore. We will appreciate some signature Nepali teas and learn about the origins of the teas, Nepali culture, and about each other in the process.
You will also receive a complimentary 50g box of your favourite Nepali tea (priced between $16 to $20), plus any samples you'd like from the tasting session. All equipment will be brought by us, but if you'd like to bring any cool tea accessories to show off, we won't stop you!
