About this Event

TEARS ARE NOT ENOUGH: Action Required! An Art Exhibit by Aisha Lumumba featuring Janice Hollins, JStacey Grayson, Marquetta Johnson, Lawrence Sullivan, and Debra Pounds. This Art Exhibit features African American History Makers.

March 2nd: Don't miss our meeting with Sojourner Truth as artist Pamela Diana brings her to life. Pamela Diana is so fabulous in her depiction that she transports you to a meeting with greatness.

March 9th: Doll Talk with Doll Maker and master quilter Jan Hollis

March 23rd: JStacey talks about his art

March 30th: Closing Reception of Exhibition with Artists


In this exhibit, we will help you learn about the artists and their works through our pictorial representations, oratorical characterizations, and the energy of viewing them at a moment in time.

Bring the children because you never know what may light a fuse inside them and bring a friend and please tell everyone you know about it. Let's pack the "house"!
