Time: 10am to 11am
It's Winter but geocachers can still pickup trash even though parks are covered in snow. We'll meet in front of the United Way Headquarters at 580 Main Street at 10am and we'll pick up trash on Main Street between Alexander and Higgins on both the West and East sides.
Take Pride Winnipeg! is supplying the bags and gloves (although your own winter mitts may be preferable).
Please dress for the weather which could very well be inclement. The event is a "go" no matter how cold the temperature.
Bring your own Safety (Hi-Vis) Vest and wear it over your winter jacket or parka
Bring your own reachy stick
Please keep safety foremost in mind especially given there are people likely to be present on the sidewalks.

If there is a blizzard, heavy snow and/or strong winds this event may be postponed. Please sign a "will attend" to receive updates AND to enable us to plan for how many are participating.
If you come by your own vehicle, there are nearby parking lots (hourly rates $8 to $9) or pay by phone street parking. Parking costs are your own responsibility.
